Powerball reaches $80 million, yet tickets set to offer fast

If you missed out tonight, don't worry, the Powerball jackpot has reached $80 million for the third time this year.

During Powerball's five-week reward run, over 386,000 WA winners shared approximately $6.6 million in rewards, despite no one matching the winning numbers nationwide.

Lotterywest spokesman Hermione Coleman expressed excitement about the increasing jackpot and the opportunity for Western Australians to win big.

"A win for WA following week would see our current Department One prize document of $50 million set in 2015 become a remote second." While waiting for a winner to end the five-week prize run, Lotterywest's awards program has seen an estimated $10 million rise.

WA players are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as sales are likely to exceed 760 per minute during the busiest hour on draw day. Tickets are available until 6 pm on draw day in-store, online, or through the app.
